W. Ian Nimmo is the Managing Director of Turnstone Asset Management and has some fund management responsibilities in addition to monitoring the growth and development of the business. Ian previously founded Argyle Investment Advisors. Formerly of Merrill Lynch, he also founded and developed a highly successful equity trading company in the 1990's.  
     
Amanda McCracken is a Director of Turnstone Asset Management. She is responsible for advising the Turnstone European Fund and allocating to hedge fund managers. Amanda is an Associate of the Institute of Investment Management and Research (AIIMR) and has 10 years experience of analysing and managing multi-manager funds. Initially trained as a performance analyst in Frank Russells’ European consulting department, she then spent 3 years at Greig Middleton Asset Management where she managed both the Unit Trust Management Service and the Offshore Portfolio service. She joined Old Mutual International in August 1998 as Associate Director responsible for the investment management of Elite, OMI’s offshore funds of funds service. Amanda went on to join the multi-manager team at EFG Private Bank, before joining Appleton International in July 2000. While at Appleton she was promoted to CEO and was responsible for managing the Condor European Fund from launch in February 2001 until August 2003.  
     

George Hobson is the Finance Director for Turnstone Asset Management. George is based in the Isle of Man from where he provides full structural support, both Onshore and Offshore, for Turnstone. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and of the Chartered Management Institute. He is a Director of Argyle Investment Advisors Ltd, an FSA regulated investment advisory firm having been appointed in September 2001. He is also a Director of the Osprey Group of Funds having been appointed to that role in May 2000. Mr Hobson was appointed as Managing Director of KSi Hawk Management Ltd in March 1998. KSi Hawk Management Ltd provides corporate and fiduciary services to a global client base and is a member firm of KS International, an international network of accountancy practices. KSi Hawk Management Ltd is licensed by the Isle of Man Financial Supervision Commission as a corporate service provider. Prior to this appointment he held senior financial positions in well known international trading companies. Mr Hobson established Turnstone Asset Management Ltd in July 2003.  
     

John Whatley is a Director for Turnstone Asset Management. John is responsible for implementing Turnstone's compliance and regulatory strategies as well as acting as their independent risk manager. Formerly the compliance officer of Appleton International Ltd and the Ely Place Investments group, John has been involved in regulated fund management since 1985. He has served as the compliance officer for FIMBRA, IMRO and FSA regulated companies. He was also invited by the previous UK regulator, IMRO, to sit on an advisory panel to help shape UK regulation.  
     

John Livingstone joined Turnstone as Investment Manager in September 2005 and has 8 years experience in analysing managers. He is responsible for managing the Turnstone Asian Fund which launched in July 2006. John started his investment career at M.W. Marshalls (CMTS) in Hong Kong. In 1995 he joined Frank Russell Company in London as a Consulting Analyst and in 1997 was promoted to Portfolio Analyst where he focused on European Equity Managers. In 2000 John went on to join Henderson Global Investors as Portfolio Manager; in the Multi-Manager department. In addition he was also involved in the manager selection for the Henderson Fund of Hedge Funds product. John joined Edinburgh Portfolio Limited in July 2002 as Joint Head of Managed Funds Research. John Graduated with an MA in Economics and Politics (Hons) at University of Edinburgh and with an MSc Investment Analysis at the University of Stirling.  
     

David Morgan joined Turnstone Asset Management in January 2008 where he heads up Business Development in the UK & Channel Islands. Most recently David was at London & Capital where he was Head of UK Institutional Sales selling the London & Capital Alternative Investment range across Institutional, Discretionary and Asset Manager Channels. Prior to that, David was appointed Sales Director at Close Finsbury in June 2004. David has had previous Sales roles at Aberdeen Asset Management Ltd and INVESCO Europe Ltd.  
     

Volenté Fowler joined Turnstone as Operations Manager in May 2005. Prior to that, Volenté was responsible for hedge fund dealing at the Royal Bank of Canada, Guernsey. Volenté also spent 5 years at Appleton where most recently she managed the Guernsey Office.  
     

Ashleigh Clarke is a data analyst responsible for collating specific hedge fund data and for maintaining our hedge fund databases. She also has responsibility for client services. Previously Ashleigh had a similar role at Appleton in London.
