Turnstone Asset Management is a niche fund of hedge fund manager,
focused on achieving absolute returns for its clients. The company
specialises in researching and investing with the very best
fund managers, who use Long/Short "equity hedge" strategies
as their means of generating absolute returns. Their clients
include Pension Funds, Private Family Offices, Private Banks,
Asset Managers, Trust Companies, IFA's and High Net Worth Individuals.
The proprietary investment process seeks to identify the very
best long/short hedge fund managers at an early stage, in many
cases prior to launch. This enables them to secure capacity
with those managers before their ability is more widely recognised
by the market.
The Turnstone European Fund was launched on 1st November 2003,
and is managed by Amanda McCracken and her team who ran a similar
fund, while at Appleton International, Condor European from
February 2001 to August 2003. The Turnstone Asian Fund
is our second fund of funds which launched in July 2006. Turnstone
intend to launch a further dedicated long/short fund of hedge
funds focused on the Global equity markets.
